04/05 plate scenic heater/ demister fault ?

have you had the dreaded heater resistor and mod wiring loom fault yet?
smelt burning rubber ?
heater speeds 4 to none ?
hed to buy the resistor and loom £103.87p,inc vat,?
renault done it for you £425.00p!!!!!!!

this is a known fault but how big is it,
it takes some time for this fault to appear,renault do sell the loom mod of the shelf,check with them 1st if your car needs it,
if you get the problem keep the old parts then contact vosa if renault wont help!!!!!!

ta pat w,had replacement done.
just trying to find how big a problem ,and how many effected by it.
may help push renault to admit this
