kangoo 1.5 dci rail pressure fault

hi all got a 04 kangoo 1.5 dci, drives fine but engine and stop light come on when accelerating but do go out, on my renault clip there are 3 codes

DF084 EGR valve position sensor circuit

df061 pre heater pugs circuit

df137 rail pressure regulation function

first two codes i can sort and dont bother me and it seems to be the rail pressure one bringing the light on. any one haed a similar fault or have any idea what it could be?? thanks ben

	EGR Exhaust Gas Recirculation EGR is a NOx (nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide) reduction technique used in most gasoline and diesel engines. EGR works by recirculating a portion of an engine's exhaust gas back to the engine cylinders. Intermixing the incoming air with recirculated exhaust gas dilutes the mix with inert gas, lowering the adiabatic flame temperature and (in diesel engines) reducing the amount of excess oxygen. The exhaust gas also increases the specific heat capacity of the mix lowering the peak combustion temperature. Because NOx formation progresses much faster at high temperatures, EGR serves to limit the generation of NOx. NOx is primarily formed when a mix of nitrogen and oxygen is subjected to high temperatures.

hi sobed, have you been able to rectify this fault? i have the same problem on my kangoo and am worried

yes mate a new egr valve sorted the egr fault and a new fuel rail sorted the lights coming on when driving, not cheap tho,, good luck
