Laguna 1.9 dci - Starter motor removal

is there any easy way of removing the starter motor with out removing the full inlet or exhaust system?

having had an ¤¤¤¤ of the day last thing i need is for this to annoy me even further.

thanks for any help

According to the Haynes manual the starter motor comes out underneath but you may have to remove some of the turbo plumbing for access to bolts, etc.
