Pairing Phone

The phone pairing process on my Scenic III seeems to go well e.g phone finds My Radiosat, but falls at the last fence after being instructed to 'Dial BT Pin Code xxxx'. (It is not a BT phone). What is this? Dialling in the 4 numbers reults in 'Connection Failed'

Re: Pairing Phone

BT stands for BlueTooth - & the pin code you need to enter the first time you pair with another device.

I dont know a great deal about it but your phone may not be compatible, depends how old it is.
Bluetooth seems a bit of a black art so you may find that if you do this several times it will connect.

Re: Pairing Phone

David from Renault UK here.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. We keep a list of compatible phones here

You could try telling the car to LISTEN for a device instead of search for it and then start the search from your phone - consult your phone's handbook for details on how to do this.
