renault espace timing marks

having problems setting timing on my 1997 2.2td espace, having changing heater matrix and flushing system out left just water in engine and unfortunatley froze, on trying to start car possibley slipped a tooth or twoon belt, on trying to set timing back up was struggling to find any true timing marks cud any one tell me if there are any and where????????? many thanks.

Sorry but there are no usable marks on the engine when you fit a new belt the belt has lines on it and you line these up with marks on the 3 pulleys

I can set it up without the marks but only because i have done so many and know where the pulleys should be

You may have broken some rockers if the belt has moved but good news is head will NOT need to come off to repair
