I did and replaced seal on the inlet aswell .. everything's beginning to point towards the stupid little plastic cogs inside the throttle or sumfin in that general area .. would be a lot simpler to fix if it would give me a code or sumfin but nah this is basically a needle in a hay stack search...

I didn't give consideration to the alternator as I checked the power output from it and it kicked out just under I'm sure 14v which is correct as far as I know from the 12v battery then 2v extra power from the alternator ie when lights, radio n so on is activated .. it's been a brain puzzler but...
