History
I bought the car with a new clutch and battery, for £200 from a neighbour after she had enough of the car letting her down.
It was suffering badly from misfires, rough running, engine cutting out, and none starting.
The mayo oil was so bad that a yoghurt pot size of mayo was removed with a spoon from the oil filler tube. The mayo is now cleaned up with an oil / water catch can.
A clean of the crank position sensor sorted the starting problem, and clean of the throttle body got it running well. New coils will be fitted to cure the misfire and engine cutting out.
When the car has well and truly proved it's self I'll give it to my son for his first car.

Modifications

Drivetrain
Oil / water catch can from air intake (after filter).
Catches condensed water vapours from the in coming air, and stops it dripping in to the engine via the crank case breather which causes mayo oil.
Also catches oil vapours from crank case keeping them away from the throttle sensor.

After almost two months the catch can is 1/4 full and the mayo has gone.
