History
I bought this car in June '17, with 115000 miles on it. After only six weeks ownership the auxiliary belt snapped taking the timing belt( the last person who changed it neglected to put the cover back on leaving it exposed) and bent all sixteen valves. This was all repared at a cost of £650, that was for an auxiliary belt, timing belt, timing belt cover, oil pump, water pump sixteen valves and the head skimmed. Two weeks later the power steering pump failed, this was duly replaced, £22.50 off ebay.
Recently the Mapp sensor has failed, an O2 sensor, two front ABS sensors and the accelerator cable has stretched.
The car is up on ramps at the moment outside my flat where it's been for the past seven weeks without any work being done to it, i've got all the parts, I haven't been fit enough to finish the work....
It's now got 123,000 miles on it....

Modifications

Interior
As I go camping on holiday, i've built a folding bed that lives in the boot. Also i've made insulated window covers that cover all the windows. Unfortunately the bed is only 5'5" and i'm 5'8" so i'm forced to sleep diagonally but this hasn't been a problem for me as I go camping alone. I spent a very comfortable five nights in it last June without being reliant on campsites....
Exterior
Window wind deflectors.
Audio
Sony head unit as the original Renault CD player ate a CD and refused to give it me back so I had to dismantle it to remove the CD and it never worked again....
