Hello All,

My father in law has Megane Sceinc (People mover thingy) 1.9 Dci.

He went out for a short drive and all was well. He stopped at a relatives house for a coffee. When he came to go home the car would not start.

He had to be recoverd.

I've taken a look and all fuses SEEM ok to me. The car turns but does not fire. I assume to lack of fuel?

I have NO clue,

Can someone advise. I have tools and am not scared of a little graft on this !!! All help appreciated.

Check if fuel is getting as far as the fuel filter - then check it's getting to the high pressure fuel pump.

After being stood since NOV last year,

Put a battery on it and cranked it over and it went.

Today I did notcie that just before we started it there was fuel movment... Before there was not.

So a priming issue I think

Well it starts now....... now we need a rad for it as its leaking water!
