I want to upgrade the air filter to improve the sound of the engine, I am seriously new to this and in experienced, please can I have some advice, pictures of mods you have done and recommended kit, thank you!,

Hi , to be honest not realy worth doing , can be expensive and not realy add much va va voom , the boys in blue like handing out tickets for loud exhausts , and when it comes to the mot smoke test , they can be allmost impossable to get through the test , us as a garage take out most mods done by there owners to get there mot test. If I was to change anything I would replace it all before mot. And I don't want a ridiculous amount of noise but a deepening and an improvement. The kits are out there. Just want to hear of people who have done it!

what engine you on? i made my induction kit, i have a 1.4 energy engine (single point injection) i bought a 90degree reducing elbow piece off ebay then added an aluminium tube to that with a cone filter on the end, if u want ill take a pic and upload it so you can have a look

I have a 1.2. I know it won't make a hell of a difference but its just to make it a little deeper! If you can take pics and give me links to the bits you bought It would be greatly appreciated. And how did you find lowering your car?

i found lowering quite easy cos im quite mechanically minded. the springs on front is just a case of getting the leg out and changing the whole lot or just the spring if thats all ur doing, and the back is torsion beam but a lot easier to lower than other french cars like 106's etc

these 3 parts should pretty much give u the same thing as what ive got, u do have to cut the silicone elbow piece down tho so that u can shut the bonnet. also as u will see on mine there is a strap round the alloy tube wich holds it all in place, that was already on my car when i took the original air intake box etc off. u will also need some hose/jubilee clips/clamps to secure each piece to another, you will need 3, 2 that will go round a 76mm bore and 1 that will go around a 102mm bore
