Hi

I am having trouble locating the coolant temperature sensor on my wifes 1999 1.6 rxe auto clio it is fitted with K7M engine.
I have a Haynes manual but it only shows K4M and D4J engines.
I have trawled the web with no luck.

I know its not on the thermostat housing and I have tried following the coolant pipes.

Hope someone will help

Hello and welcome to the forum

Sorry I can't answer your question but what Ido know is you have the wrong Haynes manual for your car you need the manual for the earlier Scenic Mk1 Phase1 1996 - 1999 that covers the single cam shaft engines.

The manual you have is for the later Scenic Mk1 Phase 2 cars which are fitted twin cam16 valve petrol engines

Thanks for the reply, the Haynes manual I have is for Clio's 1996- 2000, with the wifes being a 1999 Clio I thought it would be okay.
