Hi I have a 2002 espace 2.2dci. It cuts out when accelerate hard...comes up with injector fault.

In with renault dealer who changed egr valve and upgraded pipe to wider diameter and teflon buid. no change. No changing faulty injector from diagnostic check. if this no good then changing fuelpump.

I was wondering after reading other threads on this...what I can do....do I have to keep paying while renault fail to find the fault or is there something I can do or renault should do if the problem seems unfable and I don't have to sell my house to pay for their failed dective work.

thanks

2.2dci fixed

Just to let you know. the renault garage changes the egr valve, replaced the pipe with a larger on made of teflon, replaced a faulty injector. these did not solve the prob. lastly they changed the auxillary fuel pump in the fuel tank and hey presto the problem was fixed.

In all they charged for parts and no labour + a free hire car for over a week. But it has sorted the problem
