Hi All,
I am a newbie I have had severall problems with my fuel supply ie. cold starting last year(new glowplugs fitted) Stiill problems with starting @ -10 in Europe. that was last year.

Now I have a problem starting in any condition, if it is particulary cold the battery wont make it. It has been said it could be injectors which I am awaiting for in the post. Whilst removing the old ones I noticed a lot of air arriving up the fuel supply line into the engine compartment! Is this usual? if not what could be the problem? The car has now covered 165k. when

Any help would be much appreciated

Hello and welcome to the forum.:)

We have had a number of people having the exact same problem as you,and they have all been traced to a damaged or corroded fuel pick up pipe from the fuel tank.I'll try and find the details of the problem and get back to you.:)
