My dad has just bought one of the above, and it has a few minor electrical niggles.

Firstly, the hazard lights dont work. The indicators work fine individually, but when the hazards are put on nothing happens.

I have checked the fuse and it appears ok, what else should I be looking for ?

Secondly, he tells me that sometimes while driving the lights on the clocks go off, but if he hits the top of the dash they sometimes come back on.

Is this likely to just be a loose connection, if so where ?

Renault hazard warning light switches are notorious for failing - time to pull it out for a looksee - sometimes a clean up gets them going again but in most cases need to be replaced.

Regarding the dash illumination has he tried twiddling the dash light dimmer switch.
