Dear All,

Will appreciate if anyone has the specification for the amount of refrigerant to pump into the 2001 Scenic.

I just had my compressor died on me :( and I had it replaced at an independent shop. It is not as cold as before. I dont know why that is. Wondering if enough refrigerant had been pumped in for this model.

Please let me know the amount/weight of the refrigerant to use if you have the specs.

Thanks!

Hi Supercharger. Even if you had the values how would you know how much was already in it. The only way of checking is to have the system emptied and then the correct amount added - any good air-con specialist will have the figures ready to hand.:)

Help Scenic Refrigerant Weight

Dear All,

Does anyone have the specification for the amount of refrigerant in the Scenic aircon system? I image its the same as the megane.

I am starting with an EMPTY system. The Scenic and megane are not popular cars where I am :( so most aircon mechanics do not have the specs:( . They filled it up but its not as cold. So I want to ensure that the right amount was put into the system. If not at least to top up the balance.

Anyone can help?? :(

Thanks

Oh dont worry about other system being the reason why it is not as cold.... I changed out everything. Everything is NEW!
