Just bought a Grand Espace (2003 model) & have now discovered two general faults:-

1). Water dripping from underside (located below the driver's seat). Is this normal? what is it?

2). 'Automatic Headlight Fault' warning on electronic dshboard display.

Hi,

I have had the automatic headlight warning come on twice in two months - don't know why. I bet it is tricked under cetain conditions - but only my theory.

I have also had variable power steering warning - I got this twice if I turn the engine off and straight back on again (don't ask me why I would want to do that).

Some say don't get too hung up on some of these warnings if they are infrequent and don't stick around - but it would be interesting to hear any opposing views to this

The water behind the drivers front wheel should be the air conditioning condensation drain - perfectly normal to expell water especially after a drive on a hot day - if you look underneath you should find a small rubber flap that lets the water out.
