Hi! I bought a second hand Clio today and everything seemed great at first. When I got it home I noticed that the rear lights weren't working and nothing happened with the brake lights when I pushed the brake pedal. I checked the brake pedal switch in the foot well and it was uncoupled. I coupled it in and the rear lights worked again.

When I push down the brake pedal the rear lights go off and the indicators light up (the third brake light works). If I indicate then both indicators flash on and off as do all the other rear lights.

Any ideas what I can do?

I'm guessing the brake lights were disconnected because the seller knew about this beforehand.

Thanks in advance!

Could be a bad earth, have a look behind the rear lights and check the connectors
for clean and tight connections.
