I have a 2007 1.6 petrol grand scenic.
Recently it ran out of petrol, and now it keeps losing power when driving, engine doesnt cut out just has no power when I floor the accelerator - then power comes back after a few seconds.

Its just overdue its service - so its booked for Friday, but is there anything I should point my mechanic to ??

Its not going to a Renault dealer this year for service after three consecutive years of truly terrible work and servicing !

Should have said also seems to turn over more when starting and doesnt start smoothly.

This is a long shot as this was posted sometime ago, but did you ever get this sorted, if so how?
