I wondered if anyone can help me? I have a 53 reg clio and sometimes when i go over a bump or sometimes when just driving normally on flat roads my radio turns off, My stop and serv light comes on so does the handbrake light. Its asif the car has cut out but it hasn't?! I have no trouble starting the car just wondered if anyone else has experienced this before? If so could you please help. Suggestions welcome!

Hello and welcome to the forum

I'd start off by checking the connections on the battery terminal are nice and tight.

Failing that you could have a dodgy earth lead somewhere.

Thanks for replying. Sorry should of mentioned have already checked the battery connection and fuses. Any other ideas?

Probably worth checking the condtion / tightness of the earth strap from the engine / gearbox to the car body.
