Hi guys, long time, no speak.

How you all doing?

I've just started to encounter a noise when activating my A/C. It's making an intermittent whirring noise. It's really hard to explain the noise I'm hearing. But it's intermittent every 10 seconds or so. It's noisy enough to get on my nerves. Almost like a dry whirring noise.

Any ideas?

My thinking, maybe a regas needed? This happened after the pollen filter was recently changed.

Whirring noise makes me think belt or bearing.
Couldn't discount gas though.

IF checking belt, check other pulleys as well, AC adds a load that may be straining another part.

My head wasn't with it earlier when I first posted. It's definitely a whining noise. Only comes on when I activate the AC. I'm sure I can hear the clutch click to engage. So I'm starting to think it could need a regas. They say to get them recharged every 2 years. Well I can safely say that this hasn't been recharged since it was registered in 2016.
