Hi,
My 3rd brake light has stopped working. I need to check if there is power to the LED. How do I remove the large plastic covering to get access to the strip light ? Does it just pull off?

Hey Lasher, I'm gonna need access at some point to my sons as his seems to have condensation.

I don't know for sure but having checked it looks as if there are 4 torx screws that seem to be holding the plastic piece its attached to onto the car.

Unless anyone else chimes In I'll probably start by removing these and see how it goes from there.

Normally they are accessed from inside the tailgate, and often they use a 501 or 921 bulb rather than LEDs.
