Just a wondering,

I have a can of that Holts Tyre Weld foam sealant stuff in the boot of the Mégane. I've had two punctures and have used the spare wheel both times as I know tyre places hate this stuff.

But if I were in a tricky situation, does this stuff completely bugger up the tyre pressure sensors? I'll stay wheel clear of it if it means shelling out for another sensor.

Anyone have any experience of this?

i was told that when you use it it buggers the tyre and you have to replace the tyre, how true that is i dont know, not sure about the sensor your best bet would to talk to a local tyre fitter

The 'tyre weld' makes sticking a patch on the inside of the tyre very difficult (if not impossible),so generally the tyre is scrap.
