Hello everyone,I have in plan to swap my 2.2 dti engine from my vauxhall movano (51plate) engine which developed a head gasket problem with 2.5 dci Renault master engine (05 plate),thought to ask you people of great knowledge if this kind of swap is possible?
1. Would vauxhall injectors fit Renault engine ? As the master engine has none at the moment?
2. Would I have to change ecu as well?
3. Would gearbox and other components fit?
4. Are there any other things I should know about?
I'm planning to carry out repairs my self but have limited tool box and am afraid that some specialist tools will be required in order to carry out the swap.

I not sure if the engines are interchangeable. Even if the injectors fitted they would have different flow rates and the gearbox ratios are likley to be different. Even though the engines may be of similar design I do know that some of the electrical wiring differs between the vehicles. For instance where the same EGR valve is fitted the wiring is different.

Hopefully some other member may be able to throw more light on the topic.
