The reason I ask, is that my car (Megane II) uses H4 bulbs for Main Beam, and H7 bulbs for dipped beam.

If the H4 bulbs are dual filament, do both the filaments light up in the main beam bulbs when switched on, while leaving the H7 dipped beams on too?

One of my H4s needs replacing so I'm considering trying a pair of SMD 5050 LED H4 bulbs for my main beam but I don't want them to suck...the ad for the LED bulbs doesn't mention dual function / brightness anywhere...

Cheers,
Andy

You're right, thanks to you both for that - I was actually just about to pay for the H4's on eBay! I'll cancel the order lol.....

Just to confirm, the fog lights are H11's right?
That site does not have any for the Megane II.

I got my bulb info from the Autobulbsdirect.co.uk website. As you'll see if you search for Megane II bulbs, it's very confusing.

Thanks again,
Andy
