Hi, I own a 2004 Renault Scenic 1.5 DCI 80,
I neglected a check injection error with as result a blown Turbo.
As the car was sold to me with the problem I started a court case witch I unfortunately lost
I ordered a second hand engine witch is now in the process of being built in. This has cost me now roughly £2000.
This means also that I have a spare set of injectors and a fuel pump, does anybody know if it is possible to get this fuel pump rebuilt so there in no risk of the dreaded fuel pump disintegration problem?
Are there know specialists that aria aware of this and are specialized in rebuilding the diesel pump to prevent this problem?

The fuel pump and injectors can be reconditioned but I don't know if there is any guarantee that it wouldn't fail again.

I heard that the diesel pumps from the scenic's after 2006 don't have the problem anymore, if this is true there must be a fix for this issue, Is there anybody who knows if this is an updated , or a completely different diesel pump?
