Recently disconnected my battery - was having door electrical issues (wouldn't lock), so disconnected battery over night - come to reconnect it today and i'll i'm getting is a rapid clicking type noise and the red immobilizer light is present on the dash.

My multimeter has done a disappearance act, otherwise would have had more on that before you ask me hah.

Here's a little clip of it, just want someone to confirm if its a poor battery

Sounds like a poor connection somewhere. Check and clean all the battery connections, especially the earth return. Cables could also be corroded inside the insulation were you can't see.
Try clipping one jump lead between the bodywork and the battery earth terminal and see if the chattering goes away.
If it does your battery earth is more than likely corroded.

Thanks for the replies -

turned out to be a combination of 2 things -

poor connections and a duff battery.

cleaned the connections up and replaced battery - no issues now

thanks again
