on my clio 1999 @72500 miles.
drove it back and it seems slightly slower at getting the speed up compared to before. its only a 1.2l but still not as it was before. the engine also doesnt sound like it did before, this mabye the altenator belt though.
what do you guys think is wrong and should i take the car back?

YES, Sounds like whatever monkey worked on youre car hasnt timed it correctly. Go straight back and demand it is rechecked..

took it back, it was the timing that was out! should have done the job properly the first time.
