Good evening folks,on my Scenic from 2004 I've electrically disconnected the EGR valve, you know pull the plug.

My question is could it be that the injection computer is making weird mistakes because of it, since i pulled it sometimes the fuelpressure is according to the computer dead and the engine wont start or is beeing killed underways, but i can start it again and it is running again, and its beeing fine.

Why have you disconnected it,,, the ecu needs to get a pulse/signal from the egr,
you can take it apart, and file/cut the plunger off, so though the motor will move the solenoid, but it will not move the valve, valve is then locked, and ecu thinks the egr is working
