Hi, I have a 2004 1.9 dci Renault Trafic and want to use some LED brake/tail and headlamps. It mentions about Can bus but not sure if my vehicle has this as I cannot find anything in the handbook. The last thing I want to do is mess up the electrics. Any help would be very much appreciated, many thanks

Fit them and see, does your van show bulb failure, if not should be ok,

Bear in mind it is now an MOT fail if the wrong type of bulbs are fitted for the headlamps.
This discounts many LEDs which will not focus properly in lamps designed for H4/H7 halogens.
And can fail even if they do focus.
I was talking with my MOT place (who are quite laid back) about this earlier in the year.
Their attitude, if the bulbs focus and pass alignment test they will not fail LEDs but if light is scattered they will.
Dunno if other places are stricter.
Please also bear other road users in mind. The LEDs may give extra light for you but if they do not focus properly, they are blinding the poor bu55er in front or coming the other way.

Neither 1.9 Nor 2.0L Have Canbus on the Body.
2.0L has Canbus for ECU etc.
There's a lot of Bollux spouted, mainly through ignorance. Mainly from suppliers.
