Engine not turning over at all despite battery being okay. Managed to bump start down a hill and runs fine but indicators not working (hazard lights do work). Engine turns off with start stop button but nothing when attempting to start. Checked all fuses and battery connections which are okay. Is this likely to be an electronic fault that requires a main dealer? Frustrating as 4 year warranty is just out. Any help or advice would be much appreciated
Kind regards Greg

So is your starter not kicking in when you press the stop/start button? - nothing happening at all?

When your bump started the car, did you have it running long enough to rule out the alternator failing?

If you did, then it could be a battery fail or a fuse/relay.

A guy had your same problem a long while back. He fixed the issue by disconnecting his negative lead from the battery and reconnecting after 10 minutes. If you try this, make sure you have your medianav code before you attempt this. You'll need it to get back into your medianav once you connect the negative terminal back up to the battery.

The guy over at the Captur forum stated that his ECU was throwing up random faults. But had them later checked at his local dealership. He never updated his thread after that.

Thanks, I will check this tomorrow and see if it fixes the issue. I thought it must be an electronic issue as the indicators don't work after bump starting when the car is running. I checked the fuse for the indicators and it's okay but Hazard lights working fine.
