Guys & girls ...

Finally go my hands on a Renault Single disk CD Head unit to replace the cassette unit on a 52 plate Scenic. How easy is this to replace ???

Is it just a matter of pushing abit of metal in the 2 holes, on either side of the unit and then that should free the old unit from the cage.

Any advice would be great ?????

Hi Whitts, the head units are simpe to replace, you can get the removat tools from the likes of motorworl or halfords £5-£10 you do just push them in and pull the old unit out, if the CD unit is from a Renault the current plugs shoud just fit straight on, if not as a rule the wiring looms are standard now so shoud just fit, if its not from a Renault then if you want the remote stalk to work the adapters to make them work ar £30-£40, hope this helps.
