Hi,I changed the drivers seat due to a split in the leather. Now the airbag warning light won’t go out.
Any sensible suggestions please? Would disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery help?
Many thanks!

A scan is what you really need to see what the issue is. It's possible that the pre-tensioner in the new seat may have been partially activated, if you can I would swop air bag and pre-tensioner from old seat to new.

If you have not got a scanner there are a few Youtube videos on how to test the ones in the new seat.
Note ignition needs to be off and battery disconnected as a minimum safety precaution
