I recently lost the nearside front foglight on my Laguna II to a stone, and have bought a replacement unit.

Trouble is, the foglight looks damn difficult to get at to replace. Can't obviously get access from inside the bonnet, or from underneath. Does anyone have any idea how best to approach this. I'd rather not give it to the dealer just to change the thing!

Get your front wheels up on a ramp.

1 Remove the splash shield below the fog light
2 Dissconect the wiring plug
3. remove 2 screws then remove fog light
4. there is a screw to adjust the fog light after fitting the new one.

Mmmm. Came unstuck at the first hurdle unfortunately. Couldn't remove the splash guard! Got the cover off the front foglight, which exposed the fixings, but they have to be released from inside the bumper, and the splash guard has some 'torx' looking screws that need to be released, and none of my torx drivers fitted well enough! Also, there is a large rubber circular bung that need to be released as well, and that didn't want to come all the way out, and I didn't want to bust it.

Also, does the guard have to be released all the way up into the wheel arch? It seems to be in sections, and it looks like I only need part of it out.
