Hi, i have a Clio mk3 1.2 75 and sometimes when i fully depress the clutch, doesn;t matter if im in gear/stopped/driving or with the car switch off or on how hard/softly i depress, sometimes it does a metalic click noise.
the noise is 100% sure coming from the pedal mechanism, not transmition/clutch/etc

Is this normal?

Its a known issue with the clio3s, its due to lack of lubrication of pivot point at the top of the pedal. Take it to any renault dealer and they will sort for free. Although there has been a few post repair repeat issues.
