When opening the door a beep, beep, beep noise happens for about 30 seconds or until the key is inserted into the ignition. Very annoying can anyone help

Are there any signs of an aftermarket alarm system being fitted to the car at all?.

Can you pin point exactly where the beeping is coming from?.
