Hi everyone this is my first post so i will make it a good one !!!!!

I have a great little clio 1.5dci it starts ok 99% of the time but that i can live with.

The problem i have is when it starts sometimes its lumpy on tickover

The other problem i have is when you go to pull off it shoots forward and when you change from 1st to 2nd the revs dont drop off quick enough for a smooth change 3rd to 5th seem ok ish

thanks in advance
mat

Mine did it maybe it still does but I dont notice it any more, I read in a manual somewhere that the idle speed differs in different gears and that it's done to smooth out the gear change but as you have found it as the opposite effect.
So what your noticing may be normal for a DCi Clio that is.

Hi

Did you find a solution to this, I'm experiencing the same lingering revs between gear changes on my 2016 Clio DCi?

thanks
Andy

As far as I know it is programmed that way, mine drove me to distraction when
I first got it but I dont notice it at all now.
