Hi,

Im looking at getting a cam belt for my clio, as i am unsure when the last change was!

Should i but just the belt at around £20 or should i get the kit which includes some snazzy filter looking thing which is around £65?

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Buy and fit the complete kit for peace of mind.

I'd go for a waterpump too.

Well to me it looks like a filter, but it might be the tension bolt!

Agreed, why change the water pump aswell?

Because if it fails in the future all the components have to be removed again to replace it.

Plus renault state the belt should be replaced whenever its removed.

Around a extra half hours work and £25 for the water pump.

EDIT, that part is the cambelt tensioner
