Hello, long time reader first time poster.
I have a Clio II 1999 1.2 Petrol
Recently it has developed a cold start problem. My car is parked in my driveway which is on a hill. If the car is pointed nose down it will start 1st time. If parked flat or nose up it will not start until about the 10th attempt.
I have replaced the spark plugs, the air filter, the oil filter, the oil and the coolant temp sensor. None of which have improved the situation. The engine turns over strong but will not kick at all, when it does at about the 10th attempt it starts and runs smooth.
It doesn't seem to matter if there is a full tank of fuel or near empty, it wont start when cold and parked flat, which just happens to be when i need to come home from work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am stumped and out of ideas to check.
Thanks
Jonny
