Hi All,

Im currently in the process of replacing my Clio oil pan - I have the old part off, surfaces cleaned and a new gasket applied to the new sump.
I removed the front subframe to remove the old oil pan but cannot get the new one back in! It seems the axel “relay bearing”? Is in the way and I see no obvious way to remove it - can I remove the AC compressor to get it back on?

What would you all recommend? I just didn’t want to damage the brand new OEM gasket 😂

Yes you can remove AC, just dont let it drop
If you have not put the gasket on yet.
play and work out how to get the new pan on, once you have worked it out then fit the gasket
You might have to hold the gasket up with the sump bolts get sump in place , just so it will lift straight up, remove bolts, allow gasket to drop on the sump, and lift both up together
Unless sump is slightly different from your original pan!!!
