I purchased a dynamique and paid £195 a year tax and the petrol consumption appears to be a lot. £6 for a day. Is it common. Are they expensive to run?

HI

you don't give us the full maths ?

£6 is at today's prices only about 1 gal, so as long as you are traveling over 40 miles a day you are getting about 40+ per gal

you also don't say what size engine your Clio has so again we cannot comment on whether this is good , bad or average

I would suspect the latter..

Can you fill in 'what's in my garage' before you post back reply

thanks

Al

5 miles for 6£ of fuel, are you sure you have that correct. as your car should be having running issues with that ratio of petrol to air

I did say give or take local runs, but generally that is what I get . I don't understand all that ratios thing sorry ***x1f61e;. I just figuring that the petrol it uses is a lityle much. It has a regular service history and has been exceptionally maintained. I just figured it was kinda high for a 1.4

Yes but 5 miles.
Would set your miles to 0 then see how many you actually get, if by pressing the info button does not work on that model of car..
You should have at least a 14 air to 1 petrol ratio
(Stoichiometric , have a little search on tinternet, it will become clearer )
