Clutch pedal down
You have to really pull on the plunger part for it to move out

 

To be fair, the switch looks damaged on one of the bits that would hold it in place, which could be letting it become loose.

 

Yh, i have used some pliers to starigten them out. So now it doesnt get loose.

When i pull on the plunger, if i pull more it feels like its gonna break lol

 

You have no choice you need to set it , its just tight go for it

 

Discard that switch assembly - it's not reliable anymore even if it was before your plier application.

See that bent tab ...................... its part of the mounting mechanism of the switch................. it should not be like that

You grab the switch assembly on the wire side after depressing clutch and turn it anticlockwise 90 degrees and then easily pull it out of the hole ............... remove the plug from the socket THEN.

New switch gets inserted with pedal depressed, turned through 90 degrees clockwise, release pedal, put plug back in

 

Just dont Forget to SET distance on new clutch switch

to be honest, with the current clutch switch in my car when the clutch is fully up, If i then lift it up more by pressing up on the clutch, the cruise control engages. So definetly to do something with the length of the plunger.

 

Just give it a good pull, push clutch pedal down , fit switch, and allow clutch pedal to return, SLOWLY

I did buy a new clutch switch and i was able to adjust the clutch switch
Then i tried adjusting the old clutch switch and it worked lol. Guess I have a spare clutch switch now.
