hi all can some 1 tell me whitch way to adjust the cable
do i turn the nut up or down to adjustthe gears are a liitle tight i have changed the gearbox oil and gos into gear fine when engine off but with it on seems hard sometime to find
first gear and crunches in reverse ad new clutch / cable last june been gear linkage fine because gos in to gear fine when engine off please help

if i remeber wright you turn the bottom nut right to left (clockwise ) to take up the slack on the cable turn it one flat then check until you get the gear change right once its right hold with a spanner and then tighten the lock nut .beware the exhaust manifold it gets very very hot very very fast as does the heat shield an its very easy to brand your wrists ouch good luck !
if i remeber its a 19mm nut

well i would like to say a big thank to all your replys
it turn out to be just the clutch needed adjusting
but with out your replys i proberley would not have done it my self so saved my self some spending money
( but wont let the wife know) gears are sweet as a nut now
changed oil didnt make any difference so turned the nut on clutch cable clockwise 3 circles and bingo happy as larry as we say so once again a big thank you
