Does anybody Know the oil drain plug key size for a Laguna 1.9 dci sport tourer 02 plate . its the square type.

Hi there, if it's the square type the the size is normally 8mm,

How tight do you do you oil filter is it just had tight .
Hi yes as hand tight as you can get it, put a little drop of oil on the rubber seal first and as i said as hand tight as you can get then run the engine and check for leaks and then recheck oil your level.

Must agree with choccy man there, dip your finger in the oil and rub around the seal on the new filter and tighten using your hands only (I normally use both)

Well done mate, not too hard after a couple of times,
If all is in place now just have a check for leaks (and carrots) :) after a short drive,

Did you have to replace the rubber seal on the drain plug aswell?? Hoping to change mine soon have not done one on this car yet!
