OK,you've just one a double rollover lottery draw!.Which 5 cars would you have in your dream garage?.

You can't choose more than one car from any single manufacturer, and you have to post a picture of each car and a short expaination why chose each one.:)

My 5 are....

A Maybach to be ferried about in(usually backwards and fowards to the pub!).The ultimate in luxury, the chauffuer would do all the hard work.:)

An Alfa 8C competizione so I could park it in the front room of my mansion and just stare at it!.Automotive porn at it's finest......

A Ferrari F40.This is what a Ferrari should be,a no holds barred racing bred road car with no traction control,ABS,air con or carpet.....just a seat of your pants thrill fest!.I'd probably kill myself in it,but at least I'd die happy and in style!

An Audi quattro S1.....just because it's utterly mental and makes the best noise of any car ever made!.Pure evil.....:d(this narrowly beat the Lancia Stratos in my selection, but the Lancia would be too similar to the F40.:()

And finally a shock!.A BMW X5 to do the boring things in life with.I drove one the other day,and although I hate all beemers,it really did impress me.I'd have a fully loaded, big engined one....and it would have to have a tow bar on it so when my Ducatti 999 broke down I could trailer it back to the dealer...;)

I'm sure my choices will change over time, but at the moment these would be the 5 I would part with my cash for.....now back to reality.

Please add yours.:)

Very interesting thread Laggy :)
My first two choices are for nostalgic reasons. I love classic car shows.

1960 Jaguar XK150S
1993 Bristol Blenheim Speedster

To pop to the shops - Aston Martin DB9

For those French Holidays 2007 Bently Continental
and finally, believe it or not, my own car, which I would love to have stripped down and rebuilt, resprayed etc. to my own specs and be involved in some of the work myself.
Regards Leroy

I am also similar to Leroy's tastes as a lot off the modern cars just do not do it for me, Yes I admire the speed the the technology but the older cars just offer so much more.

My first choice is the Ferrari 250 GTO, It just epitomises what Ferrari means to me, One off the most beautiful cars of all time, Sensual, Powerful mm.

My Second choice is the Jaguar E-Type but in BRG not red as in this Pic, at times I am torn between the Jaguar and the GTO as to which is the most beautiful car in the world mm .

My Third choice is the humble Fiat 500, Oh the boyhood fun I had in one off these long before I was old enough to have a driving licence, The forest tracks, the disused airfield of my hometown, The fun to be had in this underpowered, but very strong little car. :)

My fourth is the Series II Land Rover a world beater and how many people owe there lives to a Landrover in all the shapes and guises they came in, Again the fun times spent deafened, frozen, shaken in one of these towing our latest toy home for my Mother to hit the roof Jeez:)

And Finally my fith choice is a Gullwing Mercedes Benz. Just Beautifull mm

Ask me again in an hour and some choices would change, But the GTO and the E-Type will always remain at the top .

Some good choices...:)

I did think about the 250GTO,but I have the Alfa 8C to look at and I'd be too scared to actually use the GTO!

Donalds 6R4 appeals to me too,as do all Group B rally cars. The Delta S4 was nearly chosen ahead of the quattro, but the S1 is the most mental of all the contraptions from that time.I want one so badly!.

Keep them coming.:)

Lot's off good choices and I can see the appeal in each persons choice -

Lag's Alfa , Never mind driving it that sensual inviting body, Just washing and polish it would give pleasure. And the Audi yes it is a one off no doubt about it.

Donalds Metro, How could a car as good as this spring from a Metro mmm Many years ago when there was talk of the 6R4 before it was seen by the public I thought they were taking the pi$$ and look how wrong I was there.

Leroy's XK150s well that would have being my choice if not for the E-Type, And the Aston mm
:)

The Corrado VR6 Storm is good shout. We have a standard one for sale at work at the moment(not a Storm:() and I have to say it is cracking to drive.I've owned 4 Sciroccos and always wanted to upgrade to a Corrado, but at the time they were too expensive. It is a fine looking car and the VR6 engine is a corker.:)

I want a garage that looks like a farm outbuilding from the outside, but is a state of the art building on the inside, with full temperature and humidity control,a wall of massive Snap-on tool boxes,a place to park my Ducatti collection etc etc etc......it will have 5 automatic doors,so each morning I can press the remote control, all the doors will open and I can play eeny-meaney-miney-mo......:)

This is getting way out of hand!

Hmmm.... where do I begin ;)

Lamborghini Diablo GTR... Race car for the road :d All time favourite manufacturer! Hard to choose a model though! They're all sex on wheels ;)

Mini Cooper... Classic design icon. Grew up having a Mini as the family car, but never personally owned one.

Aston Martin Vantage V600.... 600bhp of pure sex and only 30 built

Escort Cosworth... 1992 model... Always wanted one. Would have to be standard though.

Aerial Atom with Honda K20 supercharged engine.... Up to 300bhp in a climbing frame on wheels

Loads more I could choose! Like every Lambo ever made, and Astons galore
