i have renault clio 1.2 2001,my drive shaft on drivers side keeps breaking from the gearbox it pulls out of the caseing the 3 bearings are in,its done this twice now with other drive shafts does anyone know why this is happing

Have you owned the car since new?

Could be a wrong drive shaft was fitted, worn out suspension parts, the car may be bent....

Have you put a brand new clip and spacer in? £6 from renault agent.
