My sister in law has gone to put her electric window down today on her Megane 1.6 Dymanique, (drivers side) and when it's got half way down it's just stopped working.
Could this be a fuse or will the motor have packed in?
Could it be something else?

check the simplist thing first start at the fuse if thats ok take the door card off check the cable that pulls window up an down thay are common to snap if all being well then id say its the motor hope this helps

The drivers window on my Megane also stopped working. I was told it was the regulater that needed replacing costing £180. I waited 2 months for a replacement from Renault.

I then started searching the net for a new regulator and found a company who repaired the module that bolts to the regulator motor they charge £38 and would return it in 72 hours.

I removed the module sent it off and received it back 3 days later.

The window is now working again.

It's usually the cables that have frayed, the above price to repair the regulator (mechanism) is a good price if you don't feel up to the task.

my cables snapped on my Megane, Renault price well over £130 plus fitting....
company based in Staffs do replacement parts around £50-£60 inc delivery....!!
