Hi guys,

I have a clio 1.2 8v 2000 model. I had a drive-shaft and cv joint fitted a while back, but now when I drive it, it seems to get more noisy over 4000rpm's. It's like a drone, but seems to get slightly less over 5200rpm's

Is this how Clio's should be?

My car had an annoying drone after 4000 rpm the other day. Once I'd dropped her off at work all was well again!!!

Well, after all that, I got it sorted via the BMW forums, lol

hi,
i seem to be having a very similar problem. I've done the wheelbearings but still this weird drone. It only seems to be an issue after I drive for a prolonged period and sometimes drones when I'm not accellerating hard as well.

Can you let me know what your problem turned out to be and how you fixed it?

I'm having the exact same problem as this. Replaced the drive shafts yesterday and getting this odd noise over 4000 rpm. Also you can feel a wobble.

What was the fix for the end for this??
