Hi,

Whilst trying to remove the EGR valve on my Scenic II 1.5 DCI (2005) half of it came off but the other was stuck fast. I tried to prise it out but ended up breaking one of the bolt holes.

Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you manage to get the stuck part out.

Spray it with carb cleaner if you have any or wd 40 if not then get a metal rod and lightly tap it as though trying to turn it one way then the other It can only turn a very small amount due to the studs bat after a few taps you may find it starts to move and then you can wiggle it about till it comes out.
