Hi, apologies if in wrong area, but electronics seemed the most apt to use (somehow)
Basically my drivers side window is screwed, literally. A few weeks ago, I was closing it, it went skewiff stopped and then with a bit of fiddling about I got it to close. Now however it wont open.
Well what with all this nice weather, not being able to open my window has been grinding me down to the point where tonight, after work, I bit the bullet and stripped the door down.
Esentially, what looks like has happened is at some point water has got into the bottom of the door, and the eleccy window cable has rusted and eventually snapped.
As far as solutions I have found this kit on ebay eBay.co.uk: RENAULT, LAGUNA, DOOR, WINDOW,REGULATOR, MOTOR 2001-05 (item 320107057009 end time 03-May-07 23:29:28 BST) which is what I need, but does anyone know of the length of time it will take me, and indeed the level of skills/ expertise I would need to complete this myself? Is it just worth getting someone else to do it?
TIA
