Electric window making bad squeaky noise when going up and down, came on in hot weather. Don't want to use wd40 in case perishes the seal any ideas?

WD40 is very unlikely to cause any harm as primarily it is a de-watering agent with little lubrication properties.
Dish washing liquid or spray furniture polish may quieten it for while.

Idealy you'll need to remove the door liner and lubricate the inner working parts - I fnd spray cycle grease or spray silicon works best. It may be a drive cable is drying out and if left unattended can break.
